VDV AVOCATS creates a specifc department especially dedicated to the alternative dispute resolutions ("ADR").

The objective of the European Directive 2008/52/EC of 21 May 2008 on certain aspects of mediation in civil and commercial matters is to facilitate access to alternative dispute resolution and to promote the amicable settlement of disputes.

Mediation is a tool well-designed for private and company-related disputes.

If a client (company or individual) is facing a conflict, the recourse to the judicial proceedings is not the unique solution.

VDV AVOCATS explains to the clients the characteristics of the alternative dispute résolutions (ADR) : negotiation, mediation, arbitration, participative procedure.

Hence, the clients - companies and individuals - may adequately choose either to trigger judicial proceedings or to have recourse to the adequate ADR.
