For the third time, Fabienne van der Vleugel, as international commercial mediator, has been nominated in the WHO’S WHO LEGAL.
The 2014 April edition "Who’s Who Legal FRANCE 2014", in its article "Mediation Marketplace Analysis" (web site), and in its paper edition (page 68) analyses the development of mediation in France and has selected 11 recognized experienced mediators, including Fabienne van der Vleugel - together with her 10 other peers.

Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution method which is increasingly used by the managers of national or international companies.
Some companies even insureds in their sales general conditions or in some peculiar contract, mediation clauses in order to make sure that, in case of dispute, such dispute may be solved through a negotiated process between parties and, in case this direct negotiated process does not solved issue, practice may have recourse to mediation in order to void as much as possible the recourse of judicial proceedings.
9th ICC International commercial mediation competition in Paris.
The ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is a unique international event organized in the the mediation field.
Fabienne van der Vleugel has volunteered her time this year to coach the team of the EFB SCHOOL - Ecole de Formation du Barreau - together with Michèle Jaudel, mediator and lawyer admitted to practice in Paris Bar. The team of EFB SCHOOL was the 21st (on 66 universities/business schools).
The ICC mediation competition is the “must attend” event in the international mediation field.
University students from both law and business schools worldwide are coming to Paris in order to participate, during 5 consecutive days, at the ICC Competition. They are testing their negotiation and mediation advocacy skills by applying the ICC Amicable Dispute Resolution (ADR) Rules in mock cases conducted by world’s leading professional mediators.
Fabienne van der Vleugel regularly participates to this event for some years : she has been a judge, mediator, judge for the Finale of the 7th ICC competition (February 2012). As member of the Competition Problems Working Group, she authored the text "ETHAJAC CREAM" chosen by ICC for the 1/4 the Finale in February 2012.

New website for VDV AVOCATS.
After the relocation of VDV AVOCATS in its new premisses, it was time also to adapt and modernize the website of the law fim.
The objective is, notably, to communicate on a regular-basis about the news of the law firm, and to inform the clients about the agenda of the conferences which are organized by VDV AVOCATS, for them, in the morning or the afternoon, the last Friday of each month.

The Association of the Business Lawyers (in French, ACE - Association des Avocats Conseils d'Entreprises) is an association ensuring notably the promotion of the profession of business lawyers.
Fabienne van der Vleugel has been elected delegate of the Regional Office of ACE-PARIS for the District Court of MEAUX (77), Appeal Court of PARIS. This election took place during the Regional Assembly of ACE-PARIS on 16th December 2013.
