VDV AVOCATS has invited two artists for the inauguration of its law firm.
The professionnal offices were all decorated with paintings and sculptures created by the artist Véronique SOITEL and with mutliple drawings of the illustratrice Carole CLERC.
The inauguration of VDV AVOCATS, which gathered about 120 persons, has been a success.
VDV AVOCATS continuously invites painters and artists of the surroundings or coming from abroad to expose paintings and/or sculptures in its law firm.
Member of the expert committee of the enterprises' incubator of VAL D'EUROPE.
Together with other professionals, notably bankers, accountants, consultants and tax advisors, Fabienne van der Vleugel has accepted to be a member of the expert committee for the enterprises' incubator of SAN VAL D'EUROPE, located in the building C of the PARC FARADAY, in SERRIS.
The enterprises' incubator of VAL D'EUROPE is located just nearby the law firm of VDV AVOCATS.
Qualified professional (art. 255, 9° of the French Civil Code)
Fabienne van der Vleugel is a qualified professional and member of the National Association of lawyers enabled to serve a judicial mandate (in French : “ANAMJ – Association Nationale des Avocats exerçant un mandat judiciaire »).
In conformity with article 255, 9° of the French Civil Code, and in the course of proceedings for divorce, Fabienne van der Vleugel may be appointed by the judge on purpose to draw up an estimative inventory or make proposals as to the settlement of the pecuniary interests of the spouses.
Indeed, patrimonial issues must be carefully handled during a divorce proceedings.
The detailed report which is prepared by the qualified professional shall be useful, notably, and as the case may be, to calculate the compensatory benefit which must be fixed “according to the needs of the spouse to whom it is paid and to the means of the other, account being taken of the situation at the time of divorce and of its evolution in a foreseeable future” (art. 271 of the French Civil Code).
Accessibility of VDV AVOCATS to handicapped persons in conformity with the ERP norms.
VDV AVOCATS has built its offices taking into consideration the norms ensuring the accessibility for people with disabilities.
The correct assistance and the organization of an adequate accommodation are very much important for VDV AVOCATS.
These criteria have been observed when defining the building of the law firm.
As from 1st January 2015, in conformity with the Act dated 11 February 2005, any law fim, as any other public access building, will have to respect the norms ensuring the accessibility for people with disabilities.
Inauguration of the enterprises' incubator of the SAN VAL D'EUROPE in SERRIS.
At the occasion of the inauguration of the enterprises' incubator of SAN VAL D'EUROPE in SERRIS, in the building located next to VDV AVOCATS, the journal of Val d'Europe has published Fabienne van der Vleugel’s interview (journal, N°82, November 2012, pages 10-14):
