The UIA Committee held in Portugal (Porto) on 29th October 2018 has confirmed the nomination of Fabienne van der Vleugel as President of the World Forum of mediation centers for another 2-year period (renewal of mandate).
In the last edition of WHO'S WHO LEGAL MEDIATION 2018 (page 5), it is indicated, in the section concerning "Other leading individuals", related to France : "[---] At VDV AVOCATS, Fabienne van der Vleugel is "an excellent mediator" who comes highly recommended for her work on both ad hoc and institutional cases [---]".
Interview by the Moniteur de Seine et Marne. Fabienne van der Vleugel, during this interview, has had the opportunity to explain the importance of the law during the negotiating process and the place of the ADR methods - alternative dispute resolution.

The 25th Forum UIA world forum of mediation centers has been a success, notably also thanks to Val d'Europe Agglomération which has sustained the organization. The territory is, without doubt, very well structured to welcome such international events.

The 25th Forum UIA world forum of mediation centers which took place in CHESSY, on the territory of Val d'Europe, has been a real success. More than 70 participants of 24 various countries of all continents have had the Opportunity during 2 days to work intensively and discuss about mediation.
