The Word Forum of Mediation Centres is the 19th International meeting organized by the UIA Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission (Union Internationale des Avocats - International Association of Lawyers).
This seminar is organized this year with the support of the University of Houston Law Center, in HOUSTON, TEXAS, US.
Fabienne van der Vleugel regularly participates to this Forum in her quality of vice-president of the sub-committee of the World Forum of Mediation Centers (UIA - Union Internationale des Avocats).
This year, she is moderating the working session "Mining the Minds".
Fabienne van der Vleugel and Bruno MENSAH, accountant expert, have presented together a conference to explain various aspects of the new 2014 French Tax Law.
The conference was organized for the CEVE - Club des Entrepreneurs du Val d'Europe - in the very newly built offices of BURO NOMADE.
The new 2014 French Tax Law has been explained in a dynamic way, in order for the audience to have practical and concrete information.

Upon request of the Mediation School of Paris Bar, and together with M. Daniel TRICOT, Fabienne van der Vleugel has presented the seminar "Corporate social responsability and mediation".
This interactive 2-hour working session was one of the last sessions organized by the Mediation School of Paris Bar for the very first 2013 promotion of the School.
Indeed, the complete program includes other working sessions and constitue a large, complete and intensive program developped by the Mediation School of Paris Bar for lawyers who are willing to be trained to the mediation.
Participation to the WORLD LAUNCH - ICC MEDIATION RULES (Paris).
This conference unveils the NEW ICC MEDIATION RULES and has provided to its participants with an understanding of the nature, purpose and operation of the new Rules prior to their entry into force on 1st January 2014.
"The ICC Mediation Rules are the result of work conducted by a Task Force of mediation and dispute resolution specialists from 29 countries Under the auspices of the Commission on Arbitration and ADR, ICC's rule-making and research body.
The Rules will be administered by the ICC International Centre for ADR. They replace the ICC ADR RULES, which have been used for amicable dispute resolution since 2001" (description of the conference by ICC).
Various topics have been developped, notably : "The relevance of mediation to businesses today", "Overview of the Mediation Rules and their genesis", "Initiating proceedings under the Mediation Rules", "ICC's role in finding a fitting mediator for the dispute", "Practice tips for conducting meidation proceedings".

The meeting "A time for entreprises 77" has been organized in MAGNY LE HONGRE by AG2R La Mondiale, File 7 and the CEVE on a very interesting theme : "Creativity for the businesses".
This was an excellent and very dynamic meeting, permitting managers to get ideas in order to develop efficiency, to ameliorate the entreprise's dynamic, to master one's competence, and to go on despite the economic difficulties.
