Participation to the seminar: "Mediation: stakes and perspectives for the PARIS Appeal Court of Justice".

During this very interesting conference organized by the Training School of Paris (EFB), the speakers have explained and demontrated the importance of the mediation within the French judicial system.

Participation to the 15th UIA World Forum of Mediation Centres.

The Forum of Mediation Centres was created in 2001 in the scope of the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats) Mediation and Conflict Prevention Commission.

The Forum brings together the most important business mediation and ADR centres from around the world and offers the opportunity to exchange views on the development of ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) and best practices.

The Forum meets every 9 months. The working sessions are interactive and animated by high-level experts.

This year, the forum met in Greece : « Meet the officers of the world’s leading commercial mediation centers ».

Belgium: Participation to the Seminar "Mediation: Are you sure/insured?"

VDV AVOCATS participates to the seminar organized at the Palais des Académies in Brussles, Belgium.

This is the opportunity to compare practices of mediation and its development in France and Belgium.

European Mediation Training for Practitioners of Justice - EMPTJ, Warwick University (UK).

Fabienne van der Vleugel participates to the seminar organized at the WARWICK UNIVERSITY (UK) by the Association for International Arbitration (AIA) and supported by the European Commission.

Following this intensive seminar, Fabienne van der Vleugel has been accredited mediator for civil and commercial european disputes.

Training: Conflict and the role of the mediator.

VDV AVOCATS participates to the training organised by the CMAP and taught by M. Gary J. FRIEDMAN, US mediator.
